Bedford, IN: GM Powertrain Foundry

While studying the former railroads in Bedford, IN, I learned about the existence of GM Powertrain. I asked in the below posting if this delivery was in Bedford, but I never got a reply. A Goggle search of "GM Powertrain" offers the topics of Defiance and Toledo, OH; but not Bedford, IN. Wikipedia indicates Bedford's GM Powertrain plant opened in 1942 and now makes transmission casings. Toledo has been open since 1956 and makes various transmissions. Defiance has been open since 1948, and it is a foundry that makes aluminum/iron engine blocks.

Monon Railroad Historical-Technical Society posted five images with the comment:
So no one correctly guessed our most recent Random Monon Monday …  well one smarty pants did (James Craig) but it wasn’t on fb, it was via a phone call and I never put the answer in print.
Here’s the answer to our mystery:
Last Monday’s Monon Monday was Bedford GM Foundry.
Didn’t know this would be such a stumper 🤷‍♀️
Here’s some pics from back when there were still railroads in Bedford.
If any sleuths want to try and figure out where in the old picture (or what side of it) that the new pictures were taken, I have included the address marked on the Google map pics.
Also double bonus- name the railroads in the foundry picture too!
Brian Robinson: I know the B&O went to the south end of the foundry as well as the Milwaukee Road.
Larry Graham: Monon and Milwaukee. Believe the Milwaukee was the carrier switching the place. With some interchange to the Monon.
John Stigall: Bedford had such extensive trackage with the quarries and the GM plant.

If B&O served Bedford, it used trackage rights on the Monon.
