Fortunately, it was a big mine so its index numbers have enough room to be visible. It was most of the pink blob on the right side of this map excerpt.

In the upper-left corner of the satellite image above, you can see the treeline where the IC branch went Northwest from a curve to the South. The two pools of water were literally on the map by 1935.
