The grain elevator has grown since the wood elevator and two jump-form silos in Barbara's photo below. Note the tamper parked on a side on the right side of this view.

posted 11 photos with the comment: "December 2, 1982 the railroad track washed out between Roodhouse and Whitehall. They hauled in rock to the Hillview Community Elevator and loaded it onto train cars to make repairs. My dad rode the train up to the washout to watch Pete Wooldridge on the dozer."

There is no loadout equipment, so the elevator is not railserved even though there is a siding in this town.
I don't know why we can't see the tamper in the above view. Here is another view that confirms the siding is now used to park MoW equipment.
