From Joanne Long
....Kevin Ferris as someone who has worked for a Chamber of Commerce, business development organization, and downtown Revitalization group, Catawissa was sitting on a gold mine with Wally's trains.  There are so many events that would bring many consumer dollars to Catawissa if the town used the trains and station as the center attraction.  Catawissa has a well-known Halloween parade that brings Commerce to the town for one day; Wally's trains and train station would bring Commerce to the town for at least one entire season. People are blind to the revenue Wally's Treasures could have brought to that town. It's a shame.

Their website indicates that the railroad was the Pennsy. But the Pennsy is closer to the river and now owned by NS. This would have been the Reading Railroad, which is obviously now abandoned.
