[Big Four would be in the foreground. The man is standing next to the CSX/Hocking Valley tracks. The photographer appears to be standing on the Erie tracks. The Pennsy tracks were on the other side of the depot.]

I'm glad it has been preserved because I guessed the wrong place according to a 1959 aerial photo. The CSX/Hocking Valley is on the west side, the NS/Pennsy is on the east side. Both the Erie and Big Four went along the north side with Big Four closest to the depot. CSX uses Erie through here and to the east. They use Big Four to leave town to the west.

Looks familiar

Bill Edrington posted seven photos with the comment: "I had the good fortune to stop at Marion Union Station and AC Tower today [May 24, 2025] while a member of the Marion Union Station Association was there.  It was the first time I had ever set foot inside the depot, which once served passenger trains of the Big Four/NYC/PC, the Erie/EL, the C&O (previously the Hocking Valley) and the PRR (whose Columbus-Sandusky line was sold to the N&W in 1964)."
