The station is now the home of Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum in Newton, NC. Randall Hampton: Locally assigned caboose; yellow bay window area. Randall Hampton posted RS-3? Nice station, a standard SR design for many years. I grew up in a town with an identical station. [Comments indicate that Gainesville, GA, and Hickory, NC, still have their depots.] |
