Saybrook, IL: NS/NKP(LE&W) Depot and Water Towers

[This is the first time I have seen three water towers. The one on the right may be the railroads and the other two are for the town.]

I believe the depot is the diagonal building near the track just West of Main Street. You can see the dormer roof for the agent's office bay window.

Saybrook, IL depot.  Found in the collection of the Ford County Historical Society. Lake Erie & Western? Not sure the year.
Bill Edrington: Yes, this was the Lake Erie & Western, most likely during the period when it was controlled by the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern (New York Central after 1914). The station sign is of a common LS&MS design. The NYC sold the LE&W to the Van Sweringen-controlled Nickel Plate in 1922.

Bill Edrington: Judging from the looks of the photo, this has to have been taken before the Nickel Plate acquired the Lake Erie & Western, which was in or about 1922 if I recall correctly.
