Andrew Waldo posted three photos with the comment:
Okolona, Mississippi: Roundhouse, Machine Shop and Turntable, Mobile & Ohio Railroad. M&O’s Roundhouse at Okolona was built with 8-stalls. Without stating when the work was done, the Notes tell us that “One end wall has been removed and end stall incorporated with frame machine shop. End wall of which is formed by framing in between.” No separate date is given for the Machine Shop, which may be seen in the second photograph. Notes estimate the Roundhouse to have been built in 1866. The photographs were taken on 24 April 1916.The 75’ Turntable was built by Philadelphia Bridge Works in 1905 and estimated installed in 1907. At the time of inventory, the turntable was inoperative. The Notes tell us why: “Table jacked up and metal center gone. A.J. Reilly Genl Foreman says sent to Whistler shops for repairs. Top 8” of concrete being replaced with new concrete 5 [cubic feet]. Flanges of table rusted…Tractor installed 1913…” The photograph was taken on 4 April 1916.Credit: National Archives & Records Administration, ICC Engineering Field Notes, Mobile & Ohio Railroad, Mississippi. Tony Howe: RC Spencer Just checked the val map. It verifies the roundhouse was retired 8-1929.
Eric M. Jonas: Tony Howe steam was still in its heyday. Would the activities have been moved to Jackson, TN or Paducah?
Tony Howe: Iselin Shops opened in 1925, so work could easily be done there instead.

Some comments on the base post indicate it was retired in Aug 1929. A topo map indicates the turntable survived past 1966.
