I was able to find the footprint of the roundhouse, so I knew it would be on a lead to the engine servicing area north of the roundhouse. Looking at a 1952 Historic Aerials, I think it was about here.

By today's standards, the CSX/C&O railyard still has a lot of tracks.

Here is an old photo of Chessie System Engine passing under the old coaling tower that was in Fulton Yard Richmond Va. (not sure it still exists.)
I hired on the Chessie System (old B&O) in 1981 in Garrett In. Chessie was conglomeration of the C&O, B&O, Western Maryland and several other smaller railroads and was in operation from1972-1986. The logo was from the C&O promotional Chessie Kitten and the O in C&O.
Chessie System merged with the Seaboard Coastline in 1986 becomming CSX. C=Chessie S=Seaboard X represents merger or together. Most probably already knew this but I thought I would share it for those that don't.
Dieter Zakas: That logo was called the "Ches-C."
Tommy Wright: Hired out on the C&O there at Fulton as a laborer on a tie gang. Worked as a foreman and other assorted duties. I believe it was taken down some time in the early 2000s.
Chad Lawson: We get our fertilizer/ grain cars from CSX out of Garrett Indiana from the CSX “local”. They bring them to our co-op in union mills and Malden Indiana via the CKIN short railroad. [No wonder he put "local" in quotes, that train has to go all the way to Wellsboro, IN, for the interchange.]
