| Andy Zukowski posted CB&Q Railroad Depot in Walnut Grove, Illinois. C1910 The Milk Train Journal posted On The CB&Q. Not the same town as the once popular television show, but empty milk cans still wait here to be picked up by their owners at Walnut Grove, IL in 1910. This location was about 50 miles west of Peoria, IL, which by some accounts did have something akin to a 'Milk Shed' at one time. So, go figure?... Joseph Obrien shared |

On a satellite map, you can still see some diagonal field boundaries that mark the former CB&Q RoW.
