Fort Wayne, IN: Stone Lake/Brudie's Gravel Pit

Hanson Quarry/Mays Sand and Gravel Pit was not the only gravel pit south of town. G Dewey Powell posted two photos with the comment: "This is now what Brudi's Gravel Pit looks like. It is now called Stone Lake. "
Note that this is about a mile east of the Hanson Quarry. It shows how important it is to pump water out of an active quarry. The second photo must be looking east and you can see the Hanson Quarry as the big white rectangle.
