Bucyrus, OH: Colsan Tower: CF&E/Penn vs NS/Penn vs Aban/Big4/TOC

The overpass over the Old Lincoln Highway still exists.

The east/west Pennsy route was the Pennsy mainline between New York, Pittsburgh and Chicago. This part is now part of the Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern (CF&E). Penn Central tore up the second track. The north/south Pennsy route is now owned by Norfolk Southern. The CF&E also operates the TOC remnant to the north to the National Lime & Stone quarry. Their location map labels this as minerals instead of aggregates. I wonder what the minerals are because the piles sure look like aggregates. Note how CF&E has added a track from their connector to NS to connect with the TOC track. That is why the TOC overpass is now abandoned.

The tower used to be in the northeast quadrant of the crossing of the two Pennsy routes with the long side along the east/west route.
