I found this map in a Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railroad group, so the heavy black lines would be part of the NYC corporate lineage.

All of the NYC routes were LS&MS except for the two southern routes, which were Toledo & Ohio Central. And Michigan Central and B&O shared the Toledo Branch route. |
While studying the topo maps to find the Pennsy route into Toledo, I discovered that the 1956 Toledo Quadrangle @ 1:250,000 has the wrong railroad names of N&W and Conrail. I suspect it is an error in the web interface. Specifically, they linked to the 1978 map instead of the 1956 map. The 1961 map at this scale is correct.
