CIM = Chicago & Illinois Midland Railroad
IMRR = Illinois & Midland Railroad

IMRR still comes in from the North and CN comes in from the Northeast and they both go South.

Interesting picture of a C&IM empty train headed back to Peabody #10 at Avenue Tower. Appears the picture was taken from the tower. What you see in the picture is the lead to Union Station for the C&IM to the left of the first gondola with the engine about to cross the lead to the GM&O line that runs up along the other side of the lumber yard/concrete plant and a little bit of the rail that the IC used to Union Station and its engine facility to the left of the engines. Avenue Tower Junction was a very busy place back in the day with the C&IM, IC, B&O and GM&O.
