CM&G = Chicago, Milwaukee and Gary
The Milwaukee Road that went through town. But the CM&G went south of the town and used a spur to access the town's business.
Robert Fiedler posted David J. Norvell: The building was a residence even before it was a depot. Built in 1850 by Greenhow, I believe it did not become a depot until after 1900. A lot of history there. Tyson Park: David J. Norvell So strange that the CM&G would have done a long backup move to access the station from its "mainline" to the southwest. |
Dennis DeBruler commented on Jimmy's post he comment about backing up was confusing until I saw a map. 1918 Kirkland Quad @ 62,500 |
