Because of the tree line, you can see the location of the north leg of the wye. And because of the gap in the trees, you can see the location of the west leg of the wye.

View of the first Chicago & North Western Railway passenger depot at Monico Junction in Monico, Wisconsin circa 1909-1910. At the Junction the C&NW line split with the mainline continuing on to Rhinelander and Ashland, and the other line to Eagle River and Land O' Lakes. The station, built circa 1885, burned down in May 1923. It was replaced with a new depot in 1925. In 1983 the C&NW sold the station to private investors and the building was moved to Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
