Saginaw, MI: Pere Marquette's Coaling Tower, Roundhouse and Yard

Reinhard Hurt posted
PM 1237 at Saginaw Coaling Tower. Tender holds 22,000 gallons water and 22 tons coal. She will consume 7,750 gallons and nearly 5 tons coal per hour.

Looking at a 1954 aerial photo, the shadows didn't look right. But looking at a 1965 photo, the shadow was distinct. I believe it was located where these foundation remnants still exist (on the right). The roundhouse was 180-degrees in 1964. So about a third of it is still left. The yard and the routes to the south and west are CSX/C&O/PM. The route to the east is Huron & Eastern Railway/Saginaw, Tuscola & Huron.

Rick Shilling posted two images with the comment: "1921 This was Pere Marquette Railroad 30 stall Roundhouse & Yard, currently Lake State Railway Company 10 stall Roundhouse, Saginaw, Michigan."
Cody Lewis Wittenmyer V: Are all 3 sides owned by Lake State? Or is some owned by Huron & Eastern? I've been curious of this for a while.
Phil Kent: Cody Lewis Wittenmyer V all owned by lake state.

CSX yard Saginaw 1989 from Thomas Kurecka collection… the Michigan Sugar stack is visible back there in the top left corner behind the Peavy grain elevator if you click and zoom in. The vast majority of traffic that goes through my interchange tracks ends up here.
