Michael Buckley Depot is still there turned it into small museum open on weekends . I was born in 1950 and from Chillicothe and don’t remember the water tower there. | Justin Henson posted Another photo from my newly acquired lot, the Rock Island depot in Chillicothe IL. Dated 4/83 David Jordan: The track had been out of service between Peoria and Henry from October 1, 1981 to about Spring 1987 when Iowa Interstate work trains began running the line to support restoration. First revenue run was on June 22, 1987. So that is why the track looks long dormant in this scene. |
