The "yellow railroad" is a branch off the Big Four's Egyptian Line that was bought and abandoned by Southern. The existing east/west railroad is the CN/IC.

  1. The movie that you have posted is quite remarkable. I believe that it was made as part of an effort by Jack Dering to refinance or to provide additional funding for mine operations. Questions about "labor peace" were always meaningful... and you can see how an effort was made in this movie to show a positive attitude in the workforce at Dering. My understanding is that these movies were found at a sale in the northern US. I believe that they were in the possession of a financial institution....or the Dering family (originally from Chicago)
