Dayton, OH: 1900 Union Station

The predecessor 1856 Union Depot was originally built by the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton, a B&O ancestor.

[To make way for streets, this depot was replaced by a smaller depot in 1964. The last Amtrak train left in Oct 1979. The 1964 station was removed in 1989.]

  1. As a railfan growing up in the Dayton area, I was always interested in the history of Union Station. Appreciate the post and pictures!
