Dennis DeBruler: An advantage of a roundhouse for railroad historians is that it is hard to remove the foundation and the remnants have a very distinctive signature. In addition to the round walls, the service pits create rectangles in the foundation floor. https://www.google.com/maps/@44.5137908,-88.0313379,205m/data=!3m1!1e3 |
