David Forbes commented on Doug's post This is the original SX (Saint Elmo) tower. Dennis DeBruler: I wondered why the signaling pipelines were going just West of the tower. Then I saw the turnout machine in the foreground. So this was some sort of hybrid tower. [It looks like the Pennsy depot in the right background on the south side of the tracks.] |

Today, the Pennsy is no longer double tracked and the diamond has been replaced by two turnouts.
