Dennis DeBruler commented on John's post Because of Crooked and Round Lakes, I was able to determine that Waverly is the little circle just northeast of the "S" in "Louis." The railroad was the Minneapolis & St. Louis. 1958 Watertown and Milbank Quads @ 250,000 John Harker: The Minnesota St Louis line from the Minnesota, South Dakota border to Watertown, and out NW meandered all over due to the hills in what I refer to as the Ridge

Once you know where the railroad ran, it is easy to find the landscars of the route.
