Midland (City), OH: IOCR/CSX/B&O Depot

(Satellite, another study in how wood buildings fall apart)

IOCR = Indiana & Ohio Central Railroad

The 2005 SPV Map labels the three routes as IOCR. But a USGS map labels them as Indiana & Ohio Railway, which the SPV Map lists as a different railroad: IORY.

I put "City" in parenthesis in the title because Google Maps calls it Midland. The 2005 SPV Map calls it Midland City. The sign on the depot is Midland City. USGS calls it both, but Midland is qualified with Clinton County because there is also a Midland, OH, in Stark County.

In 2014, the roof looked OK. By 2018, it looked like it had some problems. The facility in the left background sells fertilizer but does not handle grain.

Mike Wilson posted three photos with the comment: "Midland, Ohio B&O train station. Just down the tracks from here my second great grandmother was struck by a train and died. 1895 she was 82 years old Quaker Minister still  ministering to people driving a horse and buggy. Picture taken today. [Apr 9, 2023]"
