Rochelle Flagg Township Museum posted Erected in 1873. The Malleable Iron Works was located on the far East end (100-130) of Cherry Avenue. The plant produced the iron bridges which used to cross the Kyte Creek in town. The plant burned to the ground in 1922. James Torgeson shared Scott Gracie: Moral of the story.......don't build a steel mill made of lumber. |
