Sebree, KY: and Robards, KY: Henderson Municipal and Big Rivers Power Plants

Reid/Henderson: (Satellite, as of Apr 2023, it is gone)

Green: (Satellite)

I've seen three names for these two power plants. Evidently, Henderson built a municipal power plant here in 1966. Then Big Rivers Electric built the R.D. Green Station. And Big Rivers bought the Henderson plant and renamed it Robert A. Reid Power Plant. [AshTracker]

Reid/Henderson: 1966 96mw [gem_reid]

Green: 1979 293mw; 1981 293mw [gem_green]

This 2007 view shows that the Reid plant was still generating. We can barely see the smokestacks of the Green plant in the right background.
