I was working around Alton and Wann and Venice for a few days on the GM&O's extra board as an operator around 1971 during the summer. The two photos, one being an enlargement of the first, shows the engineer about to grab the train orders as the head brakeman grabs a couple of bottles of cold soda pop from the operator. © Roger A.
