(
Satellite) Even in a 1951 aerial photo, I could not find something that looked like a stockyards.

My Mom used to take use to Memorial Park because it was one of the four parks in the city that had a swimming pool. But I never noticed any animals on the north side of Wasshington Blvd. It is interesting that it is along the NKP tracks since that was the last railroad built through Fort Wayne. The stockyards in Chicago was a terminal for animals. That is, they got butchered there. This stockyard was probably a water, feed, and rest stop for animals.
