This is the first time I have seen a grain elevator have to load across a town street. Railroad Street used to extend east of Monroe Street. So I think that elevator was in the northwest quadrant of Railroad and Monroe Streets.

Dennis DeBruler: The town had at least two grain elevators.

[I wonder if this is the bridge that got wiped out by the storm.]

One of my metrics for judging the prosperity of a small town is looking for filling stations. I found a Country Mark with three pumps and a BP with four pumps.

I noticed that neither West Lebanon nor this town have a grain elevator. So I wondered to where the local farmers haul their grain. I found an ADM facility on the south side of Attica, IN.
