Greensboro, NC: 1927 Amtrak/Southern Depot and NS Pomona Railyard & Tower T1

The town had six railroad "spokes," and they were all Southern.

Joseph Zalkin posted eight photos with the comment: "The Greensboro station is really beautiful.  A throwback to the early days.  Short hop to Charlotte, hopefully."
C Kent McKenzie shared with the comment: "My friend Joseph Zalkin shared these photos from the Greensboro Southern Railway Station earlier today. This facility is now known as the 'J. Douglas Galyon Depot.'"
Randall Hampton: It sat semi-empty for many years. I don't think there was anything in it but a nice H0 scale layout in the old segregated waiting room, off the right from the main lobby.

The NS railyard still has all of its tracks. I could not find any roundhouses on the 1951 map.
