The 1874 Bismarck C&EI depot stands decorated for the holidays at Kennekuk County Park. My photo, taken 12/16/23.The former "O'Leary's passenger car" (former Missouri Pacific grill car) that used to sit north of the station is gone, having been scrapped in place by the conservation district.

The grain elevator shows several generations of expansion. I'm guessing the steel bolted silo was built next to the original wood elevator. Then the wood elevator was replaced with jump-form concrete silos. They kept adding concrete silos until they switched to bins. Is the bin on the north side used for fertilizer storage?
I'm shocked to see a cut of cars under a loading spout. 1) The cut is small and CSX doesn't like messing around with small cuts of cars for grain elevators. 2) There is no fall protector.

I think the satellite image is Oct 2018. There is definitely railcar activity at this elevator.
