H Ray Wilson posted Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad depot Normal, Illinois. I worked my first regular job here 3/11 PM Operator/Leverman Feb. 1967. (not my photo) Richard Fiedler shared Kerry Doyle: That strikes me as an IC architectural style. |

Dennis DeBruler commented on Kerry's comment Indeed, this must have been an IC+GM&O Depot. The side with the semaphores and ironman for train orders was along the IC. https://clearinghouse.isgs.illinois.edu/webdocs/ilhap/county/data/mclean/flight10/000x3a083.jpg |

Andy Zukowski posted Illinois Central Railroad; Chicago & Alton Railroad in Normal, Illinois. 1912 Photo by C.R.Childs Everett Lueck: AT that time the depot was in the southeast quadrant of the crossing, with the interlocking tower in the southwest quadrant. When the new depot was built in the northwest quadrant, it incorporated the interlocking plant as well. |
