The 2008 views make one appreciate how good the street views became.
I don't normally do commuter stations, but this one included interior shots.

This is another example of how redundant Erie and DL&W were before their merger. In fact, Erie itself had two routes in this area. The Erie route on the right side is abandoned, but the other two routes survived the merger. Also of note is that the cartographer marked the location of the
Passaic Depot, but not of the Clifton Depot.

While checking out the industrial buildings along Clifton Blvd., I found
Champion Plastics that is still rail served.
In fact, this satellite caught six hopper cars on the industrial spur.
In fact, while I was "cruising" with street view, I discovered that the
Poptime Snack Brands has preserved its smokestack. They make good cell-phone antennas.
