Collierville, TN: Southern+M&O Depot and Static Display

Depot: (Satellite)
Caboose: (Satellite)

The 2005 SPV Map indicates the original route was M&O as well as Southern. But topo maps and my 1928 RR Atlas label the route as just Southern. M&O was the Mobile & Ohio, which became part of GM&O. The route is now owned by NS.

Between May 2018 and Mar 2019, they installed a chain link fence.

Alan Smith posted 17 photos with the comment: "Good morning,  I really love small towns that embrace their railroad heritage.  This is the town of Collierville Tennessee just east of Memphis on the CSX line and this is a siding with an Southern locomotive and caboose and a Pullman along with the original train station is now a museum and railroad cultural center. I had a blast climbing up into the cab last night before dinner with friends......"Where is he going"? Lol"
Dennis DeBruler: Every map I've looked at labels this route as NS instead of CSX. And since this was a Southern route, NS would be expected.
