Depot: (Satellite, just the foundation is left)
William Wheelock posted PI-2 passing the decaying depot at New Lebanon, IN. September 1985. The depot was torn down in July or August of 1990, just prior to MP109 (Just north of Sullivan) to MP155 (west side of Newton, IL) being sold to the INRD. Chris Goepel: Awesome series of images of the Type B rebuild depot at New Lebanon, Indiana. Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to recall the locations of any other similar Type B depots on the IC in Indiana? |

Mark Llanuza posted It's 1988 westbound at New Lebanon IL Dennis DeBruler: Thanks for including the wood grain elevator. |
This town is unusual because it did not grow up around the depot and grain elevator. Instead, it grew up around an intersection that was south of the crossing.

The depot would be the rectangle between tracks that is parallel to the tracks. On the satellite image you can see a tree line where the siding used to run along the south side of the depot.
