Historic 1880s view of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Coatesville Pennsylvania, looking westbound, from the Ted Xaras Collection. 
The handsome old CV Tower looks almost like a lighthouse. It was replaced by another structure in 1904 when the entire line was widened to four tracks.

This is a google earth view looking north from the crossing in the original shot. You can still see the curbing for the old platform
