Dennis DeBruler commented on Jim's comment The depot is labeled a community center, https://maps.app.goo.gl/L9Yw3HhztQb3imvb7. But the freight house just west of the depot is still used by NS, https://maps.app.goo.gl/QbEKKFMaFfVcaN7XA. Jim Kelling: Dennis DeBruler okay thanks I haven’t been there for many years now |
I found this trackside view of the depot while trying to figure out which crossing was controlled by the crossing guard tower. I never did find a crossing for that tower.

The topo map not only marks the locations of the stations, but it also labels therm.

Since it is also labelled on the topo map, I checked out the Lehigh Valley depot. To my surprise, it and the freight house are also extant.

Dennis DeBruler commented on Darren's post The depot and freight house for the Lehigh Valley is also extant along South Street and west of Main Street, https://maps.app.goo.gl/UXxzb7goRksRe5iY7. The depot is in the foreground and the freight house is in the background of this view. According to Google Maps, the freight house is now a coffee shop, https://maps.app.goo.gl/MHg5vEctVE7Jc7mW6. Jim Kelling: Dennis DeBruler the Lehigh Valley depot is in much worse condition |
The freight house retains the classic design of a two-story office and a one-story freight handling part. In fact, it still has the freight doors for loading trucks/wagons.
