C&NW: (Satellite)
CGW and Rock Island shared the route north of town. They separated on the south side of town. C&NW went through town just east of the CGW+RI route. The square east of the CGW+RI tracks and at the end of 2nd Street was the CGW+RI depot. The rectangle just a little further east and south of 2nd Street was the C&NW depot.
I used this photo to sort out the markings on the topo map.

Clear Lake Junction
CGW+RI had two depots in town. In addition to the depot for this town, it had a depot on the south side of town where it crossed an interurban railroad. If people in Clear Lake wanted to go East or West, they would probably take the Milwaukee, which ran through that town. But if they wanted to go North or South, they would bop over to Mason City on the interurban to catch a north/south train.

The 2004 SPV Map shows that the tracks just above IA-106 on this map was an interurban railroad and that the crossing of that interurban with the CGW+RI was Clear Lake Junction.
