The Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway Company updated The southbound flyer is approaching South Park-Lackawanna station in the late 1910’s. A lot of milk business is evident. Note the telltale device set up to warn trainmen riding on the top of the cars to duck for the McKinley Ave overpass. These devices were found on practically every railroad in the days when brake wheels were located on the top of the cars. Timothy Lloyd: Must be a Milk Car on this train for all those cans! Sealest and Borden had their own cars. Paul Sobkowiak: Where was this station located? |
