Winchester, VA: Railroad Office/B&O Depot and Cabooses

CSX/W&W/B&O Depot: (Satellite)
CSX Office: (Satellite, actually, CSX has moved to the B&O depot.)
W&W Caboose: (Satellite)

W&W = Winchester & Western Railroad

Brax, Aug 2018

RE Pearce posted three photos with the comment: "The Winchester Virginia station was serviced by the B&O Railroad in its day. Built of stone in 1893 it has stood the test of time. It now houses the offices of the Winchester and Western Railroad. The tracks are still active, but the station has not seen a passenger in some time."
Keith L. Merritt: No, you missed this one by that much. Winchester and Western moved out over 7 years ago. T&E for CSX still works out of the building.
[The Google Map labels are not up to date. It labels the depot as W&W and an office across the street as CSX.]

[Some comments indicate that W&W moved to Inwood.

CSX used to keep locomotives and a shoving platform (caboose) in this town.

Evidently a B&O caboose got repainted as a W&W display caboose.

Pennsy had a route that terminated in this town. B&O is the route next to the cemetary.

Evidently, CSX use the B&O route to the South and the Pennsy route to the North.

This was on a branch to Strasburg Junction.
