All three railroads shared the route across the river. An older map shows that the NYC was previously the Big Four.

I had to study the destination cities on the track diagram (Image 5) for a while before I realized that "South" was on the top of the diagram. Then I saw the arrow on the model board (Image 2) that confirmed that South was at the top. So the track diagram shows that the tower was south of most of the tracks between the river and Clinton Ave. And this aerial photo shows that the tower was a little east of Tilden Street.
