| Sam Walter posted It’s about time to take another day trip to photograph grain elevators again. One of my favorites is also one of the closest to me, the Molt Farmer’s Elevator located on the Great Northern Railroad’s Great Falls line which was abandoned sometime after the merger of Northern Pacific and Great Northern railroads in 1970. It’s still in operational capacity, and is being used by a seed company for bulk storage. Dennis DeBruler: Like some towns in Illinois, this town has more bins than homes. |
They had a bunch of bins on the left, but most of them have been torn down.
