Bartlesville, OK: MKT Coaling Tower and Santa Fe & MKT Depot

Coal: (Satellite)
Depot: (Satellite)

The former Santa Fe route is still used, but it is owned by Southern Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad (SKOL) instead of BNSF. And UP has trackage rights to the north.

I found it. It is rare for a tower to sill have the metal of the skip hoist.

Dana Darbro posted two photos with the comment: "Coaling Tower in Bartlesville, OK. Built about the time they went to Diesel and was never used!  Still stands today."
Dennis DeBruler: I've seen several of these monuments to the strength of reinforced concrete. But most of them have had their metal parts stripped off of them. This one lets you see what the skip hoist looked like.

Since the leaves are off the trees, we can see that the static display north of the depot includes a caboose.
