Aaron Brown posted two photos with the comment: "Old foundation once part of Lake Erie and Western R.R. Roundhouse. Peru, IN."

I wonder what this facility does that it warrants barb wire in a small town and no identification (signs nor Google label). It does have an industrial building that is old enough to have some character.

Note how the shape of the parking lot reflects the existence of the foundation.

A couple of comments on Aaron's post explain why we see roundhouses for Wabash and C&O in 1951, but not for NKP.
Darrell Sherrod: NKP (ex-LE&W) shared C&O's Peru shops during the 1930s and 40s, but when were the LE&W buildings actually demolished?
Jon Gipson: Darrell Sherrod I was always told in late 20’s. Cause NKP paid C&O to maintain the power, as a consolidation during the Van brothers reign.
