Des Moines, IA: Des Moines Union 11th and 18th Street Railyard

11th Street yard: (Satellite, the track we see today was  the RI. The land above those tracks were the DMU railyard including a turntable.)

Yard Office: (Satellite, see aerial photo below. 12th Street didn't use to connect to 11th Street.)

Roundhouse: (Satellite, the roundhouse was in the northeast corner of this building's land.)

18th Street Yard: (Satellite, this yard still exists and is used by NS.)

The DMU owned the East Des Moines Union Station.

Milwaukee Road GP9 sitting next to the Des Moines Union Railway office in Des Moines, Iowa.

Today, there's no trace left of this.
