A good example of "demolition by neglect."

What a "gem" of looking back in history this train station could be today. I wonder why Folks in this area leave it crumbling(my opinion)
John Reuter: New Hope RR doesn't seem to be too interested or invested in the upkeep of that end of the line once you get past Buckingham.
Kevin Crader: They keep their Buckingham Village yard very poorly. Looks like a garbage dump. They let the station rot then knocked it down, a classic case of demolition by neglect. They occasionally spray herbicides, leaving their frontage a dirt strip of dead plants, cigarette butts, and other trash.
I love trains and all things rail, but that railroad should be ashamed at the state of their yard. Reflects poorly on Buckingham’s leadership too, that a visual junkyard blights the township in such a highly trafficked location.
Denise Bojczuk: I remember when it was a craft and art and artisan store and beautifully maintained. This is so sad to see. I bought some beautiful items there including paintings by local artists. One of the paintings is actually a painting of the outside of the store! I think the woman who ran it was named Susan.
Mark Grande: Rushland was and still is such a cool area.....Davis Feed Mill ...... !!!

Here is a view from the other side. I took in 2014.

The feed mill is on the other side of the tracks.

Some comments on Richard's post mentioned the roof being hit by trucks from the quarry. The quarry is just a few hundred feet away.
