| I.e. Xam posted Kentucky Versailles - L&N Randy Early shared Steve Russo: This is the Toy Train Museum. It's a fantastic collection of trains, mostly old Lionel O and Standard Gauge. I go there several times a year to marvel at the collection, and to buy parts for my 1929 Standard and 1946 O trains. |

As is typical with tourist railroad websites, they don't say where the trains go. They do say the ride is about 90 minutes and goes West.

More specifically, the train travels "west through typical Kentucky countryside. You will pass cattle and fields of corn, soybean, and tobacco. We also pass through two Thoroughbred horse farms where you may see mares and foals in the fields. The train then descends through deep limestone cuts to the palisades of the Kentucky River where you may disembark and photograph Young's High bridge built in 1889 and see the Wild Turkey Distillery." I don't care much about a train ride, but seeing Young's High Bridge from the bottom of the canyon would be interesting.
