It is very unusual in the Midwest for a freight house to be attached to a depot. But since this depot became a tobacco museum, I now assume the attached building was a tobacco warehouse instead of a freight house. But I'm adding the "freighthouse" label to identify the additional function of this depot.
These tobacco warehouses must have been common in the area because the
ACL depot in Conway, SC, also has this long addition.
I wonder what business uses tank cars.
