Deers, IL: Lost/Grain Elevator on Wabash Branch to Champaign

Deers, or Deer Station, one of two elevators on the Wabash line that connected Sidney to Champaign, IL.     Rail line built in 1881.   The other elevator was Myra or Myra Station.

I'm surprised that a topo map shows the railroad to be southwest of the intersection because a satellite map and the above aerial photo clearly shows that it was northeast of the intersection. Topo maps normally don't make mistakes of that magnitude.
