This town was on the IC branch of Kankakee & SouthWest (K&SW).
At first, I could not decide if it was the first rectangle just south of the clump of trees south of Main Street, or the one further south.

This town was a little north of where the K&SW forked into two subbranches. (It is in the upper-right corner of this excerpt.)

So I got another aerial. But both rectangles were already gone by 1953.

Then I read the comments on the post. (I do need to remember to do that first.) The tree in the photo and the "white building" indicate that the depot was just south of the clump of trees.

The grain elevator on the north side of town has survived the loss of rail service.

And on the south side of town is Cabery Fertilizer. They have built a truck scale on the old IC right-of-way, and it is weighing a liquid fertilizer truck.
